One of the distinguishing features of the Sunbeam Trio Mid-Tower Case is the reflective car show finish that has been applied to all the external panels. The entire exterior has been painted jet black and has been complimented with matching plastic front bezel and mesh material. On the front of the bezel, Sunbeam has added its own company logo that has been silk screened in white lettering.

The Sunbeam Trio Mid-Tower Case includes a swing away front door which shields the drive bays when not in use and maintains the polished look of the case. The design of the front door is quite unique and is comprised of two formed plastic pieces that are secured together via a series of screws. The two formed plastic pieces have also been aligned with black mesh material that assists in ventilation for the external drive bay area.

A total of four 5.25" drive bays and two 3.5" external drive bays are provided to handle any type of component configuration. Next to the external 3.5" drive bays is location for a Power button and a small Reset switch. Standard Power and HD LEDs are centered between the Power and Reset buttons on the front bezel. The Power button is oversized and provides quick access for powering on a fully installed system with ease. Consumers worried about adding fan controlling or monitoring devices will be pleased to know that the front bezel provides enough clearance for installation with any issues. One point that should be noted is that the Power and HD LED's are not visible when the front door is closed. This is something that Sunbeam could have remedied by adding additional openings on the swing away door.
