At the rear of the SyncMaster 920T is a small opening used for cable management. Consumers can easily route their cables to a hidden compartment located at the base of the LCD. In the hidden compartment is the location for a 15-pin VGA connection and DVI (Digital Visual Interface) connection. I was pleased to see the inclusion of a DVI port since this re-enforces the idea of using this product in a dual monitor configuration. Next to the small opening for cable management is the location for connecting the power adapter.

As part of the feature set, the Samsung SyncMaster 920T TFT-LCD Monitor has a series of small hidden grey buttons which allow the adjustment of the monitor settings. By pressing each independent button an on screen menu system guides the user through all the monitor functions. The menu system is well designed, easy to navigate and covers all the basic settings such as vertical and horizontal positioning, video source toggling, OSD (On Screen Display), image size, auto tuning as well as brightness and contrast settings.

The Samsung SyncMaster 920T TFT-LCD Monitor includes a Magic Bright menu which compliments the OSD (On Screen Display). The Magic Bright menu option provides you with a series of pre-configured optimal environment settings (Custom, Text, Internet and Game) which are dependant on the application or image that you are viewing. By selecting one of the menu options allows you to configure your viewing environment to a preferred brightness and contrast setting which works best as a default configuration. Natural Color is an easy to use management system that assists consumers in monitor image alignment on screen or via print. An easy to use wizard guides you through the menu options where you can make the necessary adjustments for your own personal preference.
