The Raidmax X1 Mid-Tower Gaming Case features an integrated temperature display, power button, HD activity display and fan display. I found the temperature display to be surprisingly accurate, reading the moderately chilly environment of my basement to a fairly steady 72 degrees Fahrenheit. I wish I could tell you that the display could be switched to Celsius, but it can't. A single temperature probe is supplied with a piece of small tape to secure it to the chassis or wherever you wish. When powered on, the display lights up red and black and definitely eye-catching. The fan display does not allow speed adjustment and merely indicates that there is a fan present. There is a single Power button and no Reset button option.

On the front of the X1, but behind the door are two USB ports and MIC/Stereo ports. I am mystified as to why these are present behind the door. If you want to plug anything into the front of your case, plan to have the door open at all times. Most door equipped cases route the USB and stereo ports either to the top of the case or into the door itself. The headers for these plugs are grouped together, which I definitely appreciate and the wires are sleeved with rubber.

The left panel features a pre-modified window that possesses a collection of silver triangular tabs. They can be rotated or removed if you wish; there's simply a screw on the back side of each one holding them down. Personally I think these little tabs are a little tacky on the white version of this case and don't fit with the theme of the X1. The left side panel was covered with protective plastic on both sides of the window and the tabs each have their own blue plastic cover to protect the silver finish.
