The case has four fan locations, one front, one rear, one on the side window, and one on the right-hand side. The front can accommodate a 92-120mm fan (not included), the rear can also accommodate a 92-120mm fan (80mm included) and the side window uses an 80mm Blue LED fan. The right-hand side is designed to provide further hard drive cooling by accommodating a 80 or 92mm “slim“ fan. This case has great potential for airflow and heat dissipation.

NZXT has giving some thought to hard drive cooling with this case. Air comes in from the front intake and flows through the perforated hard drive cage taking the generated heat away and out the rear exhaust. Further hard drive cooling can be achieved by adding an optional front intake, or a “slim” side fan.

In order to install the floppy and optical drives you must first remove the front fascia. I like this approach as you do not see the rails when the door is open like some other cases using a rail system. The front fascia was a little difficult to pull off with my fingers and required the aid of a small flat screwdriver. I find this a positive, as the fascia is well secured to the main chassis to prevent squeaks and rattling.
