Above the CPU socket is the location of the 184-pim DIMM sockets. The DFI LAN Party UT NF4 SLI-DR Motherboard can support a maximum of 4GB of DDR 266/333/400 memory across four 184-pin DIMM sockets. Placing memory in DIMM 1 and 3 or 2 and 4 will automatically enable the dual channel memory function.

Two Ultra ATA33/66/100/133 IDE connectors are located towards the upper right edge of the motherboard for a total support of 4 IDE based optical or hard drives. Next to the IDE channels is the location for a single connector for a legacy Floppy Disk Drive. The 24-pin ATX power connector is placed to the right of the DIMM sockets while the 4-pin +12V power connector is located in the same area. In order to provide clean voltage and stability to the motherboard, DFI has also included an addition 5V/12V 4-pin Molex connector and 5-pin connector.

The lower portion of the DFI LAN Party UT NF4 SLI-DR Motherboard features a pair of dual PCI Express x16 slots for the SLI configuration as well as a single x4 and x1 PCI Express slot. There are two accompanying PCI slots for add-on expansion peripheral cards such as Sound, NIC or RAID cards. The UT NF4 SLI-DR uses a series of jumpers that must be manually set using the bundled SLI Jumper Removal Tool. Consumers have the option for setting the jumpers for single VGA (pins 1-2) or SLI Mode (pins 2-3). The SLI Jumper Removal Tool is awkward to use and consumers should exercise caution when applying pressure to avoid bending the pins on the jumper caps.
