Introduction:
When it comes to audio, the average consumer has plenty of options. There is a cornucopia of manufacturers
in this field. Multiply that by the number of models each manufacturer offers, and you have a challenging
market to try and break into. Edifier hopes to carve a niche for itself in the North American market.
Already China’s biggest manufacturer of audio products, Edifier oversees every stage of production;
from engineering & design, to manufacturing & packaging. With a head office in Vancouver Canada, I’d
say these guys are serious about giving us a strong product and giving consumers something new to
decide upon. Today in the MTB Labs, we will be evaluating the new Edifier H800 Hi-Fi Stereo Headphones.
Specifications:
The Edifier H800 Hi-Fi Stereo Headphones are designed for PC and home stereo use. They fit securely to
your head making them equally suitable for portable devices and such. The H800 feature plush ear pads,
a strong durable head band with lots of padding, and an extra long 5m (15 feet) audio cord. Here are

The Edifier H800 Hi-Fi Stereo Headphones arrived in a glossy cardboard box. An illustration of the
H800 dominates the front, while the unit specifications take up the back.

The inner packaging is made of a pressed board box. The outer layer has a textured laminate finish
which feels incredibly durable. The front of the box has a green sticker saying "pass"; signifying
that the device has underwent some form of quality control before leaving the factory. The inner
package presentation was even more remarkable. A gold coloured sheet of polyester lines a piece of
soft foam nestled in the middle lye of the H800 headphones. You can bet your last dollar, that if you
purchase a pair of these headphones, they will arrive in mint condition.
