Introduction:
When you think of computer speaker manufacturers, a few names come to mind which include Klipsch, Logitech, Creative,
and Altec Lansing. Edifier is a little known company that is starting to make some pretty big waves in the computer speaker
market, sound waves that is. The Canadian office for Edifier has been in operation for 7 years and it handles all of the
warehousing and distribution here in Canada as well as some parts of the United States. The Canadian office also contributes
to one half of the companies overall Research & Development efforts. Edifiers’ principles are simple which is to produce
the best possible sound and product quality in a given price point. Today in the MTB Labs, we will be evaluating the new
Edifier e2100 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System.
Specifications:
The Edifier e2100 system has been in production for approximately 6 months, and it is the first of two products offered
in the "E" series line, with the e3100 offered as an upgraded model. The e2100 is currently only available in a gloss

The Edifier e2100 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System arrived in a white corruated cardboard box that was both colourful
and eye catching. The front and the back of the box contain the same image, while both sides provide the colour,
voltage and speaker specifications.

The speaker system is well protected inside thanks to corrugated egg carton style packaging, with each component
wrapped in its own plastic bag.

The Edifier e2100 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System comes with a soundcard to speaker connection cable, owner’s manual, and
two clear snap style speaker accents. The owners manual is easy to follow and contains well written instructions on
installing and caring for your speaker system.
