The installation procedure of the Corsair Xpert TWINXP1024-3200XL DDR Memory Kit is straightforward and
can be completed in less than 5 minutes. Users unfamiliar with the proper installation procedure can
consult the provided documentation for instructions. It is recommended for maximum performance that the
modules be installed in dual channel configuration in accordance to your motherboard. The Plug-n-Frag
feature automatically will adjust the memory latency to that programmed into the module upon powering
the system.
As previously mentioned, the Corsair Xpert TWINXP1024-3200XL DDR Memory Kit is bundled with an application
program called Memory Dashboard. The Memory Dashboard is a simple program that provides easy set-up of
the memory module controlling parameters. Consumers are provided with real-time frequency, temperature
and voltage statistics. One unique aspect of the Memory Dashboard is the ability to build custom transition
screens that can be displayed on the 10-digit alphanumeric display. Corsair provides 10 different
pre-configured settings along with an option for custom messages up to 23 characters per marquee.

Once installed, the Corsair Xpert TWINXP1024-3200XL DDR Memory modules come to life during the POST
process with the 10-digit alphanumeric display and all 18 LEDs illuminating to demonstrate full memory
usage. Using the Memory Dashboard I was able to program a custom message as well as a display for the
current temperature.

Two additional transition screens also include the currently voltage and frequency statistics. All
transition screens can be configured with a custom display time and shift speed. There are a total
of 12 transition screens that can be configured per module in the Memory Dashboard. While the
10-digit alphanumeric display is both intuitive and an excellent feature, configuring 4 of these
modules in any given system could be quite distracting.
