The back portion of the Cooler Master Centurion BTX-B540 features a standard PSU mount, I/O ATX back plate, expansion slots, and dual 80mm exhaust fan mount. The fan mount consists of honeycomb style grills that have been integrated into the case frame. I found that neither grill prohibits air circulation but as an option consumers can easily use a Dremel or rotary tool to clean up this area. Since the BTX-B540 is a BTX style case both the top and left side panels are secured to the chassis using via rivets, only the right side portion of the case is accessible.

The Cooler Master Centurion BTX-B540 comes equipped with 4 PCI/PCI-E/AGP slots ready for use. The tabs covering the slots can be easily removed once the motherboard has been mounted. In order to gain access to the case interior all that is required is to remove two thumbscrews from the rear. Once the thumbscrews are removed the side panel conveniently slides off.

The interior of the Cooler Master Centurion BTX-B540 Case includes enough room to install a complete computer system. The case chassis does not include a slide out motherboard tray option but has been designed to support m-BTX motherboard format. The design of the PSU mount inside the case is adequate and uses two tabs to support the weight of any PSU of your own choosing. Positioned directly in front of the PSU mount are two external 5.25" and two external 3.5" drive bays which use a unique tool-free drive locking system for mounting external components. The tool-free drive locking system is very easy to use and only requires sliding the tab into the unlocked position to install your components.
