The multimedia aspect of the Samsung DVD-R120 DVD Recorder really comes to light when the unit is
flipped on its rear to reveal a multitude of ports. On the left side of the DVD-R120 is the location
for the Digital Audio Out (optical) and Digital Audio Out (coaxial). Next to the Digital Out ports
is the location for the Line Audio Out and Line Video Out. Under the Line Audio Out and Line Video
Out is the location for a single S-Video Port for connecting to any external source using an S-Video
cable. Finally, the DVD-R120 comes equipped with Composite Video Out, Line In Audio, Line In Video,
Line In S-Video and Antenna In/Out ports.

To simplify the process of adjusting all the DVD-R120 functions, Samsung has bundled a silver coloured
remote control which is powered by two AAA batteries. The remote control offers the same level of
functionality as the base of the Samsung DVD-R120 DVD Recorder.

The button layout on the remote is very simple and comparable to a standard TV remote control. The top
portion handles all the DVD and TV functions including channel changing and volume control. The
bottom portion handles all the display modes including the video source, On Screen Menu, Title List,
Play List, Record Mode, Info and Timer mode.
