Using the included acrylic 5.25" spacers, we fasten the 5.25" devices to one another. The Bob Slay does not
have a cover for vacant 5.25" drives, so if you don’t put something there in the form of a CD-ROM drive or
5.25" peripheral, you will have a gaping hole on the front of your case. The presence of the acrylic 5.25"
spacer dictates that your drives must be inserted from the inside of the case. Four screws are used to
fasten the bottom drive to the case much like the HDD was anchored earlier. This method confidently secured
the two devices to the Bob Slay.

This shot visually describes the final layout of all the lower level devices. With the optional acrylic HDD
bracket (or a custom made one), you can see the HDD space potential of this case. Further, there is ample room
in the upper right corner of this photo to coil extra wires and/or install a water-pump/reservoir if that is
your means for system cooling.
Next the full size ATX motherboard is installed. With the exception of the I/O panel side of the motherboard,
there is 3/4 of an inch (2 cm) of clearance between the outer edge of the motherboard and the side walls of the
case. This provides ample room for running wires between the upper and lower decks of the case, as well as
providing heat to escape from the lower level.

The 120mm fans are installed next. Observe how much space is between the fan and the full size motherboard.
The fans do not need to be removed in order to facilitate installation of the motherboard, however careful
insertion/removal of the motherboard is required if the fans remain permanently affixed to the Bob Slay.
Next we see the power and drive connections on the motherboard. With this much wiring visible from the top
down, you can foresee a lovely un-obstructed view of your favorite motherboard.
