Installation:
The installation rig used for the X2O kit is composed of the following items:
- AMD 2600+ Sempron (754 pin) heat dissipation 62W
- ASUS K8V-MX motherboard
- Enermax 350W PSU
- 512MB Kingston Value Ram
- Bob Slay Clear Acrylic Case
- Windows XP Professional
The stock motherboard back plate must be removed to make way for the X2O mounting hardware. This is an
inconvenience as the motherboard needs to be removed from your case. With the bolts installed, the
motherboard can be returned to the case.

With the bolts installed we can test the fit of the water block and mounting plate. With no obstacles in
the way, you can easily use the configuration illustrated on the left. If large tall standing capacitors
are in the way XSPC includes a mounting ring which elevates the mounting plate an extra 6mm away from the
motherboard. This is a very thoughtful innovation and adds to the universal compatibility of this system.

After the test fit, the springs and knurled nuts are called in to permanently affix the water block. I chose to
use the mounting ring as some tall standing capacitors looked like they wanted to get into the way. Installation
was pretty simple and the chromed items look rather attractive on the system board.
