Introduction:
The digital music player market is filled with many reputable brand names that offer an abundance of features combined
with fast writing speeds and storage options. For most consumers, a digital music player is a very cost effective
investment since it provides so many advantages in terms being a cheap storage alternative and a portable multimedia
solution. The popularity of online music services such as iTunes and Napster has confirmed that digital music players
are mandatory for most enthusiasts who enjoy their music on the go. Samsung Electronics has been at the forefront of
the consumer market developing a wide range of digital audio products based on its popular Yepp brand name. Today in
MTB Labs, we will be evaluating the new YP-U1 USB Drive Music Player; an all-in-one media solution which provides
1GB of flash memory storage.

The Samsung YP-U1 USB Drive Music Player has a capacity of 1GB of internal flash memory designed for the
storage and playback of MP3, WMA, WAV, and OGG files. The YP-U1 is the latest in digital audio players

The Samsung YP-U1 USB Drive Music Player comes complete with an installation CD, user manual, earphones, and neck
strap. All the included items ensure a trouble free install and ensure the YP-U1 USB Drive Music Player is ready to
use out of the package. The user's guide is very brief at 13 pages but includes some excellent information and diagrams
relating to control locations, system requirements, features, menu options and troubleshooting. Samsung provides a 1
year warranty for the YP-U1 that covers defects in material, design and workmanship.
