Moving on to the inside of the case, access is gained by removing the two left panel thumbscrews and pushing the handle forward to release the latch to pull the panel off. Only the left side panel has thumbscrews, while the right side panel uses the standard type screws.

The side panels do not have any channel guides or tabs to hold them in; instead the Nitro AX uses spring steel tabs along the chassis where the side panel contacts the case. This creates a bit of outward force on the side panel to prevent the side panels from rattling. The side panels are also aligned into place by way of a rounded support running top to bottom at the front of the chassis, which aligns in a U-channel guide mounted to the side panels themselves, providing simple easy panel removal and installation.

Once inside the I-Star Nitro AX Full Tower Case, we can see that there are multiple pieces of cross bracing running from the front panel to the rear panel right under the PSU area and also in behind the motherboard tray. The case has 5 x 5.25" slots and 2 x 3.5" external drive bays as well as 5 x 3.5" internal drive bays for hard drives that use a quick release rail system. The case is made from 1.0 SECC steel and weighs in at 35lbs, I could not find one sharp or un-rolled edge on the inside of this case. The Nitro AX is built like a tank that will stand up to multiple hardware changes over the years.
