USB/Audio jacks are on the front/left of the case and are situated to be accessible with the door in open or closed positions. The next shot illustrates the button/light pattern on the front door. In order from top to bottom, we see the Power LED, HDD LED, Power Switch and Reset Switch. Both Power and HDD LED’s are green.

Making our rounds of the exterior, we observe the molded acrylic side window. Holes on the bottom left of the window supply passive air flow to the case. Above that Sunbeam has a side firing fresh air intake in the form of a 1000 RPM blue LED 120mm fan. This perforation includes mounting holes for an 80mm fan if you so desire. The rear of the case has the standard 120mm exhaust fan location, compatible with 120mm/90mm/80mm fan sizes.

Concluding our exterior analysis we note the right panel of the case. The Silent Storm features a matte black painted exterior. Inside the case was an assortment of items which included the following:
  • 1 x Bag of brass motherboard standoffs
  • 1 x Bag of motherboard mounting screws
  • 4 x Plastic case feet
  • 1 x Nylon zip tie
  • 1 x Adhesive nylon zip tie fastener
  • 3 x Pairs of tool-less internal 3.5" drive bay rails
  • Assorted fan mounting screws
  • Installation guide
