With the side panel off, we look at the nest Sunbeam has created for all your hardware goodness. The "Core-Fan" is positioned at the exact center of the chassis, requiring removal when the motherboard is to be installed. It can be shifted ¾ of an inch to the left or right for fine-tuning its anchored position. The standard issue motherboard headers are illustrated to the right.

PC expansion cards are secured by these handy little clips. They unlock easily when installing expansion cards, and snap down tightly finalizing your installation. External drives are secured by, what the manual calls, a screw-less kit. With the device in place, simply slide the "screw-less kit" into the locked position. Doing so forces two pins to protrude into the screw holes of your device, holding it securely to the inside of your chassis. Note that the hard drives are mounted transversely compared to the external drive bays. I’m a pretty big fan of this configuration and Sunbeam has executed it well.

Three pairs of special rails are included with the Silent Storm package. Each rail has two pins designed to fit snuggly into each side of your hard drive. With the rails in place, the hard drive slides into the cage and locks into place. I was very pleased how well this designed worked when test fitting my components.
