MODTHEBOX would like to thank NZXT
for sending the Lexa Aluminum Mid-Tower Case for review.
Introduction:
Pre-modified cases have taken on a whole new direction since being launched into the mainstream consumer market in the
past few years. Manufacturers have been busy offering a wide array of cases that cater specifically to the gaming community. One significant
change in the pre-mod market has been the introduction theme based cases. Most theme based cases often include bundled fancy lights,
side panel window designs, integrated monitoring controls and cool aesthetics. NZXT based out of Taipei, Taiwan developed a significant
reputation for developing gaming cases that combine unique design, style and personality. Following on the success of the Crafted Series
style of cases, the company has recently developed a new chassis marketed under the Classis Series banner. Today in the MTB Labs, we
will be evaluating the Lexa Aluminum Mid-Tower Case, a pre-modified light weight chassis that contains silent cooling properties
and unique features all-in-one package.

logos and images printed on all sides. The packaging inside the box was good with the case sealed in protected plastic with two

Out of the box, my first impressions of the Lexa Aluminum Mid-Tower Case were extremely positive. On a monthly basis here at MTB,
we are subjected to numerous manufacturer's marketing rehashed pre-modified cases that follow the same old design formula. It
was definitely a nice switch to see NZXT expanding its Classic Series with the introduction of the Lexa. The entire construction
of the case consists of a light weight aluminum chassis balanced with black and silver highlights. A futuristic LCD temperature display
panel has been integrated in the top portion of the curved bezel design which provides both real time stats and temperature readings. The
Lexa measures approximately 220mm (W) x 522mm (H) x 569mm (D) and is light weight at 5.8 KGS. The case has been designed to support
Baby AT, mATX as well as all full ATX motherboard formats with a maximum size of 12.50" x 10" or smaller. The entire exterior has
been painted black with a reflective car show finish and the composition of the case is made up of a light weight aluminum chassis
combined with formed plastic parts. The case does not include a power supply in order to keep the price down but consumers can pick
up any compatible unit from local retailers suited for their particular configuration.
