The top portion of the Lexa Aluminum Mid-Tower Case incorporates a digital thermal probe monitor which is embedded behind a smoked acrylic panel. There are 3 thermal probes that can be connected to any heat source for accurately tracking temperature performance in degrees Celsius. Next to the digital thermal probe monitor is the location oversize chrome Power button. In order to deal with air circulation issues, NZXT has added a top 80mm exhaust fan mount which sits behind an integrated fan grill.

The Lexa Aluminum Mid-Tower Case features a swing away door which reveals the external drive bays. The door is held in place via a series of small magnets that are embedded into the front bezel. A total of 4 x 5.25" drive bays and 2 x 3.5" external drive bays are provided to handle any type of computer configuration. I found removing or installing the front bezels to be a bit of a challenge and consumers should expect to use a fair bit of force in this area. Next to the 3.5" external drive bays is the location for a small chrome Reset switch.

On the bottom portion of the Lexa on both the left and right hand sides are a series of ventilation slots that also assistance with air circulation for the front 120mm fan intake. In order to cater to multimedia enthusiasts NZXT has included a suite of front mounted ports that include dual USB 2.0, IEEE 1394 Firewire, Headphone and Microphone. The ports are attached to a series of extender cables which must be connected to the proper headers on a motherboard prior to use. A wiring guide is provided in the installation instructions for those consumers who require assistance.
