The front bezel of the Cooler Master Centurion 534 Case features 5 external 5.25" drive bay slots that can handle any type of computer configuration. The surface of each aluminum drive bay cover is perfectly flat and suitable for mounting existing pre-made devices such as LCD's, monitoring devices, mobile racks or fan controllers. Underneath the external 5.25" drive bays is the location for a single 3.5" drive bay which is suitable for mounting legacy floppy devices or card readers.

Underneath the single 3.5" external drive bay is an oversized Power button, small Reset switch and two LED's for Power and Hard Drive activity. Both LED's have been mounted flush into the aluminum front bezel. I did note that when I removed the case from the packaging that the Reset switch had come loose. This was easily fixable with some glue that was applied to the back of the button. The Centurion 534 caters to multimedia enthusiasts with the inclusion of two front mounted USB ports, Firewire IEEE1394 as well as two audio ports. Each port is connected using a bypass cable that must be wired to a motherboard. Users will be required to check their motherboard manual on the proper instruction for attaching this cable.

In order to deal with air circulation issues, Cooler Master has drilled a series of ventilation holes on the left side panel that is positioned directly in the peripheral card location. Above of the ventilation holes is an adjustable plastic air vent and filter. The air vent and filter are installed directly over the location of the CPU and aids in drawing in cool air from outside the case. The air vent sits over an 80mm fan mount which consumers can add a 80mm fan for additional cooling if warranted.
