NMedia has used a standard approach to cooling the interior of the case via a series of ventilation slots and perforated holes. The top portion includes several ventilation slots located in the center of the design. Along with the ventilation slots is an 80mm fan mount and an air duct which sits over the location of the CPU. The air duct is a new revision added to the HTPC 180BA product line and provides a direct path for air circulation and cooling.

Both the left and ride sides of the NMediaPC HTPC 180BA Case both include perforated holes to help with cooling. The rear of the case has been sanctioned off into three sections with the PSU mount on the very left. The PSU included with the this product is rated for 300 watts which means that component selection and installation will be very limited due to power constraints.

To the right of the PSU mount is the location for a single 60mm exhaust fan and an ATX I/O back plate which will fit most standard mATX motherboards. The ATX I/O black plate includes all the necessary cut outs for serial, parallel, video, USB, mouse, keyboard, onboard LAN and integrated sound. To the right of the ATX I/O back plate is the location for 4 PCI/AGP slots. The tabs covering the slots can be easily removed once the motherboard has been mounted. Also included in the rear of the NMediaPC HTPC 180BA is an S/PDIF extension port for those consumers who wish to configure their audio support via digital source.
