The top left compartment allows access to a single slim CD drive bay while the lower compartment houses front USB, Audio and Firewire ports. Each port is connected using a bypass cable that must be attached to the appropriate motherboard headers. Consumers will be required to check their motherboard manual on the proper instruction for attaching each cable.
