Introduction:
Over the years we have seen vast improvements in optical mouse technology with Logitech and Microsoft being the main
leaders in this field. Optical mice have proven to be very reliable and track more accurately than the standard track
ball style mice available. It was only a matter of time when someone would take this technology and compliment it with
a mousing surface designed strictly for the gaming crowd. Today, we take a look at the Ratpadz Mousing Surface which is
the brainchild of Kyle Bennett of [H]ardOCP fame.
Specifications:
The Ratpadz Mousing Surface has garnered a very popular following with the gaming community. The question that one has
to ask is what makes this mouse pad so special? Here are some of the specifications from the manufacturers website:

The first impression out of the box is the size of the Ratpadz Mousing Surface. The Ratpadz measures a 9.5" in height
and 11.5" in width, which is slightly larger than your standard piece of letterhead paper. If you intend on purchasing
one of these pads, make sure that your desk has enough adequate room to place it next to your keyboard.

The surface of the Ratpadz is quite grainy and is made of out a material called Ultraslick polymer. It may sound like
something from a late night infomercial, but what this means is that the surface area of the Ratpadz is made of highly
durable material that will last you a lifetime. You can basically do anything with the Ratpadz Mousing Surface without
harming its performance and can easily maintain the product with soap and water or a mild glass cleaner like Windex or
Mr. Clean.
