The rear of Ultra MicroFly Micro ATX Case has been sanctioned off into two sections with the PSU mount towards the top right. The PSU mount is very accommodating allowing consumers to install a full size ATX PSU of their choice to handle the demands of power hungry components. To the left of the PSU mount is the location for a 120mm fan mount which acts has a rear exhaust. The 120mm fan mount sits behind a honeycomb style grill that has been integrated into the case chassis. Consumers concerned about maximizing air flow can clean up this area by using any type of Dremel or rotary tool.

Below the 120mm fan and PSU mount is another series of ventilation holes and the location for the ATX I/O back plate. The ATX I/O back plate which will fit most standard motherboards and includes all the necessary cut outs for serial, parallel, video, USB, mouse, keyboard, onboard LAN and integrated sound. Next to the ATX I/O back plate location are 4 designated PCI/AGP slots. The tabs covering the slots can be easily removed once the motherboard has been mounted.

In each corner of the Ultra MicroFly Micro ATX Case are four metal flat feet which keep the case stationary when positioned on a flat surface. The feet are held in place with a simple 6-32 mounting screw and are coloured black with silver highlights. The MicroFly deviates away from the traditional "U" shaped external shell used with the original Apevia X-QPack. In place is a better revised solution in which the left, right and top panels are completely removable. By removing one single mounting screw allows the top panel to slide backwards providing access to either the left to right hand sides of the case. Once all the external panels have been removed, a view of the interior reveals that the case is both spacious and well laid out.
