The rear of the Zalman HD135 Aluminum HTPC Case has been sanctioned off into three sections with the PSU mount on the very left. The middle portion of the case features optional dual 60mm fan mounts which act as exhaust blowholes. Below the fan mounts is the ATX I/O back plate for a mATX or standard size motherboard. To the right of the case are seven slots to install any combination of PCI/PCI-E and AGP expansion cards. One point to note about the PSU mount is that Zalman has lowered the position of this area in order to allow consumers to install a full sized PSU as well as keep the HD135 design low profile.

Accessing the Zalman HD135 is very simple thanks to removable top panel that is secured to the chassis using 2 thumbscrews. A closer look into the case interior reveals that the unit both spacious and well laid out. Zalman has emphasized tool-less options by including an easy method of securing peripheral cards without using any mounting screws. An adjustable handle allows you to install or remove any components with ease.

The Zalman HD135 Aluminum HTPC Case offers decent storage capabilities thanks to dual drive mounting brackets for the 3.5" internal bays which exist on both the left and right hand sides. The 3.5" drive bay bracket is secured by a single mounting screw and can be easily removed. Consumers can install a maximum of 5 hard drives for a complete storage solution.
