DIY-F01-712:

First up, from the Fan & Cooling series of 7zoneUSA products is the 70mm to 120mm blue acrylic fan adapter (model DIY-F01-712). This product is very attractive looking, and sports EVERYTHING you need to mount the converter, and the fan of your choice. These adapters are incredibly practical, allowing you to up convert the fan on your CPU’s heatsink from 70mm to 120mm. The benefit is two fold, you can reduce case noise by installing a bigger fan and bigger fan size translates into greater airflow & cooling.

It’s easy to see how this all aluminum piece of duct-work could be very effective in reducing fan noise, while causing zero interference to the flow of air exiting your case. Soft foam lining coats the inside of the duct, creating a very clever sound barrier. The cover's length can be adjusted tool-lessly by using the thumb screws on either side of the aluminum unit.

DIY-RSS120:

Moving on to the Anti-Vibration Series of products, 7zoneUSA included the ultra light silica gel Anti-Vibration gasket. The gasket measures 3mm thick, and has standard mounting holes drilled into each corner. Available in 60, 80 and 120mm sizes, these gaskets dampen fan noise by not allowing the vibrations to conduct to your PC case.
