MODTHEBOX would like to thank Yolanda from Cooler Master
for sending the Cooler Master iTower 930 Case for review.
Introduction:
Cooler Master is a company that requires little introduction. They have a long standing history of making some quality
computer cases at an affordable price. I always found Cooler Master to focus primarily on quality and features, rather
than flash and gimmicks with such cases as the Wave Master and the original Stacker just to name a few. Cooler Master
has an extensive line up, and offers a case for whatever your needs may be. Today in the MTB Labs, we will ve evaluating
the new iTower 930 (RC-930), an aluminum and steel based chassis designed with a built in hot swappable SATA.backplane.
Specifications:
Following previous premium models, Cooler Master announces the iTower 930. The tool-free user-friendliness and superior
thermal performance are necessary factors for this CM high quality model. The iTower 930 has front HDD hot-swap function
with a laconic, staid appearance design with aluminum bezel. Here are some features and specifications taken directly
from the Cooler Master website:

Inside the box we can see the case is protected by way of hard foam type inserts. Tucked away inside the case you will
find an installation manual, and a box of hardware.

My initial impression of the Cooler Master iTower 930 was extremely positive. The first thing I noticed was the weight,
construction, and styling of this case. I like its simple clean lines, with refined touches such as the aluminum front
door. Even though the inner front fascia is made from durable ABS plastic, it sports an almost metal like finish. The
main front door is constructed from aluminum and it is similar in styling to the Cooler Master Wave Master Mid-Tower Case.
The smaller black door is made up of a combination of plastic and mesh material. This door can open independently to
facilitate the swapping of the hard drives enclosed in the SATA back plane. The mesh allows for air to enter and cool
the hard drives. This is the only location for fresh outside air to enter the case through the front. The iTower 930
front I/O panel has the usual power, hard drive, and internet display LED's, 4 x USB, and one IEEEE 1394 ports, as well
as headphone and MIC inputs.
