A closer view of the SATA hot swap module shows a 92mm HDD cooling fan with 1500 RPM at 19dBA specifications. On the circuit board there are two 4-pin power, and 4 SATA connectors. There are also four 3-pin fan header connectors to power additional case cooling fans.

By removing the fan bracket we expose the entire circuit board. You can see openings for air circulation, as well as the jumpers to control the hard drive communication options.

The iTower 930 comes with a 120mm rear exhaust fan rated at 1200 RPM @ 22dBA. The fan can be powered up using the either the 3 or 4-pin power connector.
