The main focal point of the Koolance PC2-C is the top cooling module. This unit is responsible for reporting system temperature statistics and houses the three 80mm exhaust and intake fans. The first two fans closest to the front bezel are positioned as intake fans for drawing in cool air into the heat exchanger (radiator). The last 80mm fan in the series is an exhaust fan which is positioned over the power control board and is responsible for exhausting hot air generated by system components. I will cover more detail on the function of the LED display and power control board later in this review.

On the top portion of the front bezel is the Power and Reset buttons. Each button is colour coated in grey to accent the grey trim which surrounds the beige bezel. On the opposite side is the Power and HDD activity LEDs which provide status activity when the system is powered or the HDD is in use.

The middle portion of front bezel features 4 external 5.25" drive bay slots which can handle most standard computer configurations. The very top 5.25" drive bay which sports the Koolance logo is not accessible and cannot be used for mounting any optical devices. Behind the drive bay is an air duct guide which holds the power control board and PSU unit in place. All the drive bay covers are flat and perfectly suitable for mounting existing pre-made devices such as LCD's, front port extenders or fan controllers. Underneath the 5.25" drive bays are two accessible external 3.5" drive bay slots which are perfect for mounting floppy devices. One 3.5" drive bay acts as stealth drive bay and requires mounting a floppy drive behind it inside the case for external use.
