The Top Cooling Module consists of a 3cm low-profile fan shroud that houses three 80mm cooling fans which maintain
airflow to the radiator. Each fan is carefully ducted, so that the air circulation is positioned directly over certain
areas of the case. The fan speeds are temperature controlled, and can be configured by the power control board which
is accessible from the LED display. The heat exchanger or radiator is light weight and consists of aluminum mesh
webbed between 13 horizontal liquid paths. The liquid paths provide high thermal dissipation in a relatively small
area. Towards each end of the radiator are entry and exit paths where 3/8" PVC tubing can be connected to the pump and
waterblock. The radiator fins incorporate a louver fin design and as a result are very delicate and tend to bend
if handled improperly.

The brain of the Koolance PC2-C Super Liquid Cooled Case is the inclusion of the Power Control Board. This PCB circuit
is quite amazing and incorporates several useful features on one board. The main function of the Power Control Board
is to power the fan cooling system, control the LED display and operate the pumps. The circuit has several components
which include a built-in fan controller for up to 4 80mm fans, 12v pump relay for turning on the pumps when the system
is powered, and a CPU temperature probe. One of the benefits of the Power Control Board is that it includes built-in
safety features by the use of an ATX pass-through connector. Motherboard headers extend from this module and connect
directly to a motherboard. By default the module is set to monitor CPU temperatures and will sound an alarm if the
system reaches over 50°C (122°F). If the alarm sounds for more than 30 seconds with no response, power to the system
will be automatically shut-off.
The LED display allows you to monitor liquid temperatures, toggle the temperature display (celcius or fahrenheit) and
set the fan mode. The fan mode selection can be toggled for three different speed options. The first option spins the
fans at the minimum RPM setting, the middle option 1500 RPM @ 45% power, and the final option 3000 RPM @ 100% power.

The heart of the Koolance PC2-C Super Liquid Cooled Case is the inclusion of the liquid reservoir and dual pumps. The
enclosure of the reservoir is constructed of translucent hard plastic. The top portion of the reservoir is secured by 10 screws
which keep the enclosure water tight. Four additional screws are located on the bottom of the reservoir and keep the
enclosure stationary. The reservoir does include openings for the intake and outlet nozzles as well as a bypass cable
which connects the pumps directly to the power control board. Koolance has done some excellent work by including two
pumps for this system. Each pump has a capacity of pushing 1030cc of liquid per minute and should one pump fail, the
secondary pump is automatically activated to maintain an acceptable temperature level or gradually shut the system down.
On the bottom of the case is the refill cap which allows you to fill and empty the system.
