Koolance 200cc cooling mixture

The Koolance PC2-C Super Liquid Cooled Case is shipped with an assortment of accessories, each component included in the package plays a key role to assembling the entire system. Included in the review package were the following items:

The 200cc cooling mixture is a main liquid which is used for water circulation inside the case. I'm not completely sure of the chemical composition of the Koolance mixture, but I believe the chemical might be similar to Glycol which is anti-freeze. The Koolance mixture needs to be combined with 500cc's of distilled water to make up the entire composition of the liquid used in the PC2-C. Before assembling the system, it is strongly recommended to read over the excellent 22 page manual included in the package. The manual includes information about precautionary measures, descriptions of the system components, setup and troubleshooting procedures.

The Koolance PC2-C Super Liquid Cooled Case shipped with one waterblock and one chipset cooler. The main cooler is the CPU-200 Liquid Cooler Assembly which is to be directly mounted on top of a CPU. The CPU-200 is the second generation of CPU waterblocks from Koolance. It fits the Intel Pentium 4 478 as well as Socket 370 and AMD Socket A processors. Also included in the package was a general purpose chipset cooler. The chipset cooler can be utilized to cool a Northwood chip or mounted directly on a video card to cool a GPU. The review package that I received contained the CPU-200 Liquid Cooler Assembly, CPU-100 mounting bracket and 4 metal hose crimps.

The CPU-200 waterblock measures 1.9" x 2.4" x 0.6" (8.2cm x 6.3cm x 2.4cm) and weighs 7 ounces (198.4g). It has been designed for extreme high performance and consists of a clear upper shell which has been molded over a silver-coated copper cooling plate. The cooling plate is capable of handling heat sources up to 200W. Two hose outlet channels exist on either side for intake and outake for the liquid system.
