The grills themselves are laser cut stainless steel. Where colouring is required, the grill is powder coated, and then
finished with an extremely high gloss clear coat. This gives the Spidey grill a rich, almost blood red colouring, and
makes the Punisher™ grill stand out nicely, even against an aluminium background. One nice feature of the grills is
that that have an identical finish on both sides. Should your grill suffer a scratch or other visual handicap, simply
flip the grill over and reinstall. Needless to say, my initial impression of both grills was quite positive, and I
immediately found myself thinking of installation options for them.

I decided to start off with the Spiderman™ grills. My Xoxide Enlight Breeze was already a pre-modded, good-looking case,
and stood out as the only beige box in my arsenal. Time to introduce some colour to the mix! I removed the standard
chrome fan grills from the top 120mm blow hole and one of the two side-mounted window fans, and replaced them with the
new models. Just looking at the case with the new grills installed got my Spidey senses tingling (come on now, I couldn’t
write this review without at least one Marvel reference). The design of Spidey’s eyes and webbing allow for decent
airflow into the case, and actually act as a better finger guard than some laser cut grills on the market. By using
the included spacers, even the window mounting was seamless; no metal to acrylic interface to potentially scratch your
window. A comparison of the Spiderman™ grill against a standard chrome grill shows just how much character these grills
add to a case mod.

I decided with the Spiderman™ grills not to use the included hole gaskets, but to mount them with just the plastic
spacers. Even with rubber moulding in place, the grills install easily, and sit a couple of millimetres above the case
itself. I kind of like the extra relief, as it tended to make the grills stand out all the more so.
