The first step was to strip the case completely down to its bare essentials. The Scorpio TA-10BD
Full-Tower Case conforms to the same design specifications as the Antec SX1030B Mid-Tower where the top
and bottom panels are rivited to directly to the case frame. To speed up the stripping process, I started
with the left and right hand side panels which were easily removable by unscrewing a set of mounting
screws.

I removed everything that wasn't bolted down including the front plastic bezels, case feet, drive cages, PSU mounting bracket, fan
holders and ATX I/O back plate. With the frame lying completely face down, I starting planning out the locations of where all the
components would be mounted and how to address issues in terms of cable management.

The chassis was moved into my garage where I could start some dremeling work for cleaning up areas of the frame which needed
improvements. I used a Makita Drill to remove all the rivets from the top panel and would later re-mount the top panel using
standard 6-32 mounting screws and bolts after a slight modification.
