After passing through the BYOC, Mantis and I were greeted by TFL CEO Tony Lim and CompuSmart main
event sponsor Chris LaFramboise. TFL staff and Chris were very helpful during the event and provided MTB with
a behind the scenes tour of the Toronto Games facility. While this picture was taken, I actually got a
chance to taste my first bottle of Bawls. I can see
why gamers like Bawls since it doesn't taste that bad and it reminds me of watered down cream soda with
no after taste.

On the upper level of the Toronto Games, we were shown the TFL network set-up and the amount of work
that was involved to network the gaming facility. There was tons of Ethernet cable coming out of a
series of Cisco routers as well as several tournament gaming servers hosting the Counter Strike
competitions.

Team Sportscast Network was on hand calling
live results from the 16 teams that were participating in the Counter Strike Competition. The guys from
TSN were great to hang around with and gave MTB a guided tour of how they Shoutcast directly to the
Internet. I have to take my hat off to "Boomerman" who was one of the nicest guys to talk with and is
very passionate about what TSN does at all the gaming events they attend. Behind the TFL events table
was the location for the tournament prizes and giveaways. TFL had plenty of gear to hand out which was
generously donated by the event sponsors. All prizes would be distributed to the winners in the tournament
and BYOC areas.

CompuSmart had a huge display
booth at the event, offering gamers a chance to purchase computer components and modding gear. The
CompuSmart booth was the only place where you could purchase individual and cases of Bawls for the event.
Intel also partnered with CompuSmart to bring down a gaming rig running a Pentium 4 Extreme Edition CPU.
This particular machine was running a demo of Far Cry during the event and provided gamers a chance to
test out the performance of Intel's flagship CPU.
