One of the cleanest rigs in the BYOC belonged to Mike "ExTeNsIvE_mOdDa" Lothian who brought down his Project Manta for the modding competition. Project Manta started life as a regular Raidmax Scorpio case and was dramatically changed thanks for Mike's fantastic dremelling skills. Each portion of the case was modified in someway including a custom cut front panel, pained blue interior, flame top and side panels. During a conversation with Mike he advised us that it took approximately 80-90 hours to complete his vision of a completely tricked out LAN case.

Benjamin "Fantaz" Feuerstein brought down his water cooled Cooler Master Wave Master Case which he won at the CompuSmart LAN Party in May 2004. This slightly modified rig included a clear windowed panel, a high-end Danger Den Kit, and UV accents which included lighting, dyes, and reactant cables.

Water cooled rigs were a common theme in the BYOC area and we happen to the spot one particular case running Thermaltake's "Big Water" Water Cooling Kit. This particular rig belonged to Shervin "Limitless" Mandgaryan and sported a clean windowed case interior accented with UV reactant dye, LED fans and UV cabling.

The A-Open HX08 is considered one of the old school cases that was used extensively when the case modding scene just started to gain in popularity. It was great to see that someone took the time to modify this classic tower case. A few of the mods included a custom cut blowhole, integrated 4 switch baybus, and a home-made HDD cooler. The BYOC also included a number of tastefully done pre-modified cases that included side panel windows and few lighting accessories.
