With the convergence of home theatre PC applications currently on the market, Marty Shaw from A-Bit had a complete HTPC system on display utilizing the company's new AW9D-MAX motherboard. The system was encased in an Antec Fusion HTPC chassis accompanied by a pair of A-Bit iDome Digital Speakers. The iDome Digital Speaker package consists of two compact speakers and a separate sub-woofer both with an integrated digital amplifier.

The TFL Winter Fragfest 2006 also included an XBOX Gaming Zone hosted by the dorkArmy. The Digital Organization for Recreational Killing is a group based out of Toronto whose sole purpose is to promote the use of XBOX console gaming at LAN events. The XBOX Gaming Zone was being run by D.O.R.K representatives Steve "General ERROR" Kriedemann and Jason "General ELECTRIC" Yarwood. Gamers were treated to non-stop rounds of HALO 2 which consisted of 1 vs.1, 2 vs. 2 and 4 vs. 4 tournaments.

The afternoon events started with a welcoming message from the TFL's CEO and Commissioner Tony Lim addressing the crowd and thanking all the sponsors for their participation. Each of the sponsors were provided time to say a few words and thank the TFL for all their hard work putting the event together. To get the crowd warmed up TFL|Dan announced two types of prize giveaways for pre-registered and registered event participants.

For those people who are into superstitions, lightning struck twice for one lucky gamer who won the top prize from LG Electronics for the pre-registration lottery draw. The top prize included a choice between two 19" LCD gaming monitors. In the regular registration lottery draw, the same gamer also picked up an Ultra Products MicroFly Case courtesy of MTB.
